What a great year this will be! We are excited to be criss-crossing the world and meeting with great parents everywhere. We continue to be amazed at how much in common you have with other parents. No matter what your economic and political and religious differences are, just the fact that you have kids gives you so much more in similarities than you have in differences.
We will be in a dozen different countries in this first quarter of 2014, and will love meeting and sharing with parents at each stop. And we are so grateful for Valuesparenting.com so that when we leave, we don’t really have to say goodbye!
It will also be a great year for new books. We have two coming out this fall, one called Turning the Hearts which is a “why-to” book on families. We have been working long and hard on this one, because we think parents need to understand the world their kids are growing up in and to appreciate how this old world can only be saved one family at a time. We can’t wait to have this book out and to give you a chance to read it.
The second book is more personal. As most of you know, we have written and sent out a Thanksgiving poem each year for more than 40 years. We are now drawing on our four decades of reflection on the beauty and importance of Thanks-Giving and putting it in a book aimed at helping people develop and hone a deeper and sharper sense of gratitude. Excited to share this one with you too!
